      Dr Daniel Rahme

      Dr Daniel Rahme is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in hip and knee surgery.

      Dr Rahme graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1996. He completed Orthopaedic training on the Sydney Training Program, gaining admission to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2007.

      Twelve months of subspecialty training was completed in hip and knee surgery at the Sydney Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Centre as well as in centres in France, Switzerland and Germany.

      Dr Rahme is committed to providing the highest level of patient care and an ongoing contribution to research and education.

      Over the years, he has been awarded academic prizes and awards, written for medical journals and presented on his specialty.

      In 2006, Dr Rahme participated in an Orthopaedic Outreach visit to the Solomon Islands. Orthopaedic Outreach is a recognised organisation committed to providing care, surgical training and services to third world nations.

      Dr Rahme has appointments at Bankstown Hospital as well as at a number of Private Sydney hospitals and has been affiliated with Dr Tony Antoun, Dr Doumit Saad and the team at Galen & Gray for almost 3 years.

       

      Dr John Trantalis

      Dr John Trantalis is an Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery with an emphasis on advanced techniques in arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

      Dr Trantalis completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Science, graduating with Honours from the University of New South Wales.

      After obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Orthopaedic Surgery he dedicated eighteen months to completing two fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery, both here in Sydney and also at the University of Calgary, Canada.

      During his training he also had the opportunity to gain further experience by attending the Sloan Kettering Clinic in New York City and The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

      Also an active participant in Orthopaedic Outreach, Dr Trantalis recently visited the Solomon Islands as part of a team of volunteers where he assessed and treated injuries and conditions affecting the local population.

      His professional values are optimum patient care, working in a team environment, teaching, research, ongoing self education and clinical governance.

      As well as possessing a commitment to the ongoing research of the shoulder and elbow, disorders affecting these joints and the establishment of effective yet minimally invasive forms of treatment, he also is actively involved in teaching at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level.

      Dr Trantalis currently holds a public hospital appointment at Concord Hospital and private hospital appointments at Canada Bay Private Hospital in Concord and The Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Randwick.

      Dr Trantalis has been affiliated with Dr Tony Antoun, Dr Doumit Saad and the team at Galen & Gray since late 2008.

      Dr Siri Kannangara practices as a Consult Physician in Rheumatology and Sports Medicine.
